Unspoilt by progress

Good things take time, and it takes over 12 months to make a single piece of oak bark leather.

There are only a handful of tanneries in the world producing leather this way, and one left in England, which has been around since 1862.

Each hide is pit tanned the traditional way, and then hand finished using a unique blend of oils and greases, by artisans who truly know their craft. Every process is labour intensive, making it expensive to produce, but then true quality never comes cheap.

These efforts produce a stunning, hard wearing full grain leather which is famed for its quality around the world.

Each hide retains its natural markings, and characteristics. No two are the same and every item we craft from it is truly unique.
