Fine quality hand crafted belt, made from Japanese glazed Shonan leather. Featuring our custom hand sewn detail and hand cast buckle, made in Japan,

• Shonan leather is traditionally pit tanned at the Shonan tannery in Himeji, Japan. Established since 1930 and renowned for its high quality artisan leathers. Each individual piece of leather takes 2- 3 months to produce using traditional Japanese pit tanning methods, using natural vegetation. The hide has a  semi-aniline water based dye finish, allowing the true beauty of the leather grain to show through and will develop a stunning patina with age.
• 34mm wide to fit the belt loops of most denim or chinos.
• Hand sewn using traditional ‘saddle stitching’.
• 5mm thick, Made from the ‘butt’ of the hide to prevent stretching.
• Japanese made solid brass buckle, handmade using traditional ‘sandcast’ casting methods.
• Buckle available in burnished nickel finish.
• Every belt comes complete with a 5ml bottle of neatsfoot oil used to condition the leather.
