This is our flagship Japan series belt, with a buckle made from hallmarked solid 925 Sterling silver. Each one is handmade by highly skilled silversmiths in Birmingham’s world famous Jewellery Quarter, where precious metals have been crafted since the 16th century.

• Shonan leather is traditionally pit tanned at the Shonan tannery in Himeji, Japan. Established since 1930 and renowned for its high quality artisan leathers. Each individual piece of leather takes 2- 3 months to produce using traditional Japanese pit tanning methods, using natural vegetation. The hide has a  semi-aniline water based dye finish, allowing the true beauty of the leather grain to show through and will develop a stunning patina with age.
• 37mm wide, suitable for the belt loops of most denim.
• Available in Black, Natural, Chocolate and Tan Shonan leather.
• Made from full grain leather, considered worldwide to be the best quality leather available. It is produced using the top surface of the hide where the fibres are much tighter making it extremely durable, and can last more than one lifetime with proper care.
• The natural grain and appearance of the hide is retained, and scars and natural marking may be visible. This is perfectly normal, and add to the unique beauty of each item made from it.
• Full grain leather is very expensive to produce, as the full hide is used to produce it, so you will only see it being used on the highest quality leather goods, like ours!
• Every belt comes complete with a 5ml bottle of neatsfoot oil used to condition the leather.
• Shipped in a  recycled card presentation box.
