Inspired by the journals favoured by seafaring types from an age of nautical adventure, we wanted our Mariner’s Journal to reflect the highly skilled workmanship that was apparent in goods from this bygone era.

• Made from genuine Horween Chromexcel,  from the world famous Horween Tannery in Chicago USA. This leather has a heritage dating back to the 1900’s and is renowned for its unfaltering high quality. As it ages it will develop its own unique character, changing colour tone as the leather is flexed, resulting in a beautiful rich patina. The tab closure is made from English oak bark tanned bridle leather, pit tanned for 12 months.
• Handmade insert with 80 plain white pages, which are made from pure cotton.
