Vegetable tanned leather is a natural product and no two pieces can ever be identical, and as such variations in colour may occur as part of the natural characteristics of the hide.

We use finest quality ‘full grain’ leathers for the majority of our products. This means the leather will age naturally, as fine quality leather should, and the true story of the leather can be reflected in your Barnes and Moore product. As a result items made from the leathers we use may display some minor blemishes and natural creases from time to time. This is a perfectly natural characteristic for the kind of high quality leathers we use, and complements the natural beauty and ageing process of the hide.
